It's always been Aero's philosophy to offer the only very highest grade products, whether it's one of our own Horsehide jackets, hand knitted Scottish made pullovers, British made footwear, Jermyn Street made shirts, Harris Tweed trousers, Levi and Lee jeans etc, over the years we've operated a no compromise policy when adding a new line to our small, but very select, range of traditional clothing and accessories.
Back in the late 1980's one of the first pieces made outside the Aero factory to be added to our range was this stunning British made Weekender travel bag. In the ensuing years we've yet to find a comparative bag of a remotely similar level of style, practicality, quality and strength.
Each bag is hand made in the traditional 19th Century way using the finest full grain English Bridle leather, top quality canvas, Riri Zipper, solid brass metal fittings. The stress points on handles and corners are double saddle stitched for extra strength in contrast stitching and even the base is made from full leather with brass studs to protect the leather. For ease of use the bag comes with a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap.
We've included pictures of a heavily used 25 year old bag belonging to one of our staff, it's been all over the World, from Europe to Russia, to Japan and The States, it's been used by four members of his family, leant to friends, used and abused over the years but never treated with any leather conditioner. It still looks wonderful, having matured beautifully and acquired the mellow patina and distinctive personality of a classic piece of furniture.
