The Aero Premier Range 1920s Work Coat

Our all new 1920s Horsehide and Melton work jacket is the second of our new Premier Range of Superior Limited Edition leather jackets based on our latest 1920s/30s pattern block.

We've taken one of the finest original 1920s jackets we've seen in many decades (click on the Original Black Jacket in bar above, which is very similar to jacket "E" in the 1927 Sears Catalogue, also pictured). We've unashamedly replicated every detail although we've tidied up the uneven gaps between the buttonholes on the original. The seams on the horsehide shell are triple stitched everywhere for superior strength, the body is fully lined in high grade English Melton (100% Wool of course) in either Bottle Green, Navy blue, Black and Brown to suit the shell colour. The melton body lining is fitted with a cotton drill sleeve lining for ease of wear. The back collar is typically cut from corduroy for comfort and to match the cuff lining and the jacket closes using 1920s style Corozo buttons and has subtle side adjusters. This is one of our heaviest jackets, one to cope with any weather conditions and ideal for anything that can be thrown at it.
Like every jacket in this new range, every hide is carefully selected, only the very highest grade materials and trimmings are used and the small team working on this range are Aero's most experienced artisans, all of whom have been with Aero for many years.

Standard size range is 36" to 48" inclusive, other sizes are available by special order
