The classic 1920s-30s US Varsity style Shawl collar Cardigan, authentically and lovingly recreated in minute detail.
We’ve taken an original period cardigan, given it to our knitters in Hawick, Scotland, the legendary home of knitwear and had it replicated on vintage machinery using the correct heavy weight, 10 ply 100% pure wool, sourced in Guernsey and knitted in a Shaker stitch as were the originals and fitted with genuine Corozo “fish eye” buttons.
A piece of history recreated, with originals selling for many hundreds of dollars and even as much as $85,000 in this case (okay that one is JFK's!) this is a unique opportunity to acquire a classic piece of vintage clothing.
