The “Real Deal” California Highway Patrolman's Heavy Horsehide leather motorcycle jacket. A much loved favourite with Police Depts throughout the USA until the 1950's.

This "tough as old boots" jacket has two front zip closing pockets, shield patch, lace side closing and zip adjusting cuffs for extra wind resistance on a bike. The wide waistbands are double thickness back and front and have stud closing belt loops for issue belt rigs. We have also added a standard lining that is as tough and hard wearing as possible, in 9 oz Black 100% cotton drill.

An iconic American classic.

This 1940s style has a classic motorcycle jacket fit with a relaxed fit around the shoulders and chest and a strong taper to the waist.

We generally recommend selecting your usual size for the intended fit (normally the closest to your relaxed chest measurement), however some prefer a more modern fitted look and size down. Please note this will need further advice from our production team as we will likely need to make adjustments to the style’s strong taper.
