Tweed Woven in Yorkshire
Its common knowledge that Aero have always strived to offer the very best of British clothing, whether it’s our Leather Jackets, made in house in Scotland, our hand knitted socks from The Isle of Harris, our Scottish Knitwear using Scottish Wool or our exclusive range of boots made in Northampton.
We are therefore proud to offer our latest all British design, our Newsboy Cap, made in Yorkshire using Tweed, also woven in Yorkshire, from the fabulous T’wool.
Twool is long ‘lustre’ wool from the rare breed Whiteface Dartmoor sheep one of Britain’s most ancient breeds; they are indigenous to Dartmoor and an important part of our National heritage. They are kept in small flocks around Dartmoor by farmers who protect the breed’s future through the Whiteface Dartmoor Breeders Association. The wool has a long staple length which enables the spinning of a worsted yarn.
