A Long Sleeve version of our popular Hebridean Sky Fair Isle. Only an expert in knitting and vintage clothing would be able to distinguish this from an original hand knitted, mid 20th Century example.

Over the years we've amassed a large archive of original 1930's and 1940's Fair Isles and original knitting patterns and we will continue to bring out new versions of these classics faithfully following these original patterns.

This particular pullover was knitted using a 1940s Pullover from our archives  as a template and every colour is identical to that of our rare original..

To find out more about the history of The Fair Isle, order a free PDF  copy of The Aero Style Review from our Books/Magazine section, there is a 4 page article on these fine pullovers in the latest edition
